They can be used with just water or with your favorite cleanser. When done rinse them by hand (recommended) or in the washing machine. Air drying them is recommended. They dry very quickly that makes them odor, mold and mildew resistant. Sanitize them, when necessary, on the top rack of the dishwasher or by heating wet in soapy water for one minute or two in the microwave.
